An exciting opportunity has arisen for a project manager to join the St.David’s team and lead on the Adopting Together project. This new initiative, supported by The National Adoption Service in Wales, is created under the joint partnership of the Voluntary Adoption Agencies in Wales (St.David’s Children Society, Barnardo’s, Adoption UK, After Adoption and AFA Cymru). The project key aims are to find families for children who have been waiting a significant length of time for a family and to develop early intervention support models, including effective transition planning, that will set the foundation of the relationship between the parent and child from the time of placement and beyond.
The post holder will be a member of the management team in St.David’s Children Society and will also have the opportunity to work closely with Cardiff University.
